At Clock House Dental we offer a wide range of services to help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted.
Tooth coloured fillings are used to match a dental filling to the colour of the teeth already present in your mouth, or to give the appearance of whiter teeth in part of an overall plan in brightening your smile.
The most common type of tooth coloured filing material is known as Composite. This comes in a wide variety of shades that we can use to blend with the surrounding tooth tissue to help to hide obvious filling materials and give a more natural look.
We may also recommend using a Composite material that is made in a dental laboratory which has been reinforced to make it stronger. This will require 2 appointments, the first for impressions and the second to cement the lab made filling in place. Your Dentist can advise you of the risks and benefits of each type of material used.
Other types of lab made fillings are Porcelain/ ceramic based for increased aesthetics and durability.
Ever heard of Composite Bonding?
Composite bonding is a process where we build up the outer surfaces of your teeth to change the shape and give you a more uniformed appearance.
